The blaze lit up the chilly air
Like the world's one and only light
Its lingering crimson colour
Dancing around, a pretty sight
Clouds of grey clogging up the room
Bursting sounded from the wood
As I reached my hands to the fireplace
The warmth felt soothing and good
The sun is golden syrup
Carefully poured
It is a daffodil
Showing its bright yellow colour from above
It is a glowing lantern
Peeking from behind the clouds at dawn
It is the world's heater
Providing the warmth all around
It is a light bulb
Shining throughout the day

Writing an Alliteration Poem
The Difficulties of Writing an Alliteration Poem
Why is writing an alliteration poem so dreadfully difficult?
Just thinking about a simple stanza
Makes my brain bleed
I doubt this poem will be an excellent extravaganza
I am hoping to raid and raise some ideas
But I'm impatient, well really impassive in an impasse
I look through and thoroughly my rhyming dictionary
Yet the only wondrous word hey what's goosegrass?
This is where my painful poem will woefully wind to an end
And it wasn't even astonishingly absurd
Hey, at least I've finally finished my English Elements* homework!
Now I can be as free as a blue bird..
I like noise
The 'zip' of the blinds opening, the call of a bird
The 'shoom' of the cars driving, silence being heard
The scratching of pencils in an exam, the metronome ticking
People complimenting on my badly drawn diagram, flames licking
The chit chattering of my budgie Marty, the crunching on a potato chip
The shouting at a 'surprise' party, the paper, scissors snip
The 'tap tap' of the computer typing, the 'tick tocking' of a clock
The 'boom' of lightning, the clicking in of a padlock
I like noise.
